On Wednesday, July 15, Juan Luis Guerra returns to Starlite Occident Marbella as one of the world’s leading figures in Latin music. A musician, composer, arranger, and producer, he has a career spanning decades marked by artistic excellence, numerous international awards—including Latin Grammys—and a decisive influence on the evolution of genres such as bachata and merengue.
Creator of universal anthems such as “Bachata Rosa,” “Ojalá Que Llueva Café,” “La Bilirrubina,” “La Llave de Mi Corazón,” “Las Avispas,” and “Todo Tiene Su Hora,” he has produced some of the most iconic albums in Spanish-language music, redefining the Latin music scene with a sophisticated and deeply Caribbean sound.
In recent years, he has continued to expand his legacy with highly successful international tours such as “Entre Mar y Palmeras,” which have sold out numerous venues, as well as new releases like “Mambo 23” and innovative projects such as the animated film Capitán Avispa, consolidating a constantly evolving career that continues to connect with audiences around the world.
