Starlite Occident will once again welcome the Gipsy Kings—featuring Nicolas Reyes, the group’s “legendary voice and founder”—to the Auditorium stage on Friday, July 3th, for an evening celebrating the timeless power of flamenco and its fusion with world music.
Twenty-five years ago, the Gipsy Kings took the international scene by storm with their self-titled debut album, a true global phenomenon certified gold and platinum that introduced millions of listeners to a unique blend of traditional flamenco, Western pop, and Latin rhythms. Since then, the band has toured virtually non-stop across five continents and sold nearly twenty million albums, keeping intact the essence and lineup of virtuoso musicians that defines it.
Led by Nicolas Reyes and guitarist Tonino Baliardo, heirs to a deep Gypsy tradition dating back generations, their music transcends borders and styles, incorporating Latin, Arabic, Caribbean, and manouche jazz influences without losing its connection to the purest flamenco. With iconic albums such as *Savor Flamenco*, produced entirely by the band itself, the Gipsy Kings have reaffirmed their artistic maturity and their inexhaustible passion for music. At this very special event, universal anthems such as “Volare,” “Bamboléo,” “A Mi Manera,” and “Djobi Djoba” will be performed—songs that have shaped generations and turned their repertoire into a true global celebration.

After fourteen editions, Starlite Occident has established itself as the longest-running boutique festival, featuring more than 60 days of concerts.

In addition, the Starlite Gala takes place every year. Led by its hosts, Antonio Banderas and Sandra García-Sanjuán, it has become the charity event par excellence, rewarding the solidarity work of those who have made others' cause their own.
